Greg Lewolt is a veteran filmmaker, having spent his life mastering all the elements of the craft from acting, to an incredible body of camerawork, editing, lighting and stagecraft. His first feature film was made by hand with 200 rolls of Kodachrome super 8mm film, with 4 more movies made on video.
Greg is comfortable shooting by himself with an assistant or with a full complement of crew. His approach is to know the equipment so well that focus is always on the talent, like a sports or wildlife photographer, to capture the magic real moments of performance, rather than use actors as puppets mealry repeating the same bits over and over until the crew can get it right. Greg won two best movies of the year in the extremely competitive erotic film field, and is at home across many types of material, , from comedy to horror. Currently Greg is hard at work funding an historical drama that takes place around the secret rocket testinglabs in the foothills of the san Fernando valley, the most toxic radioactive land in California where the first nuclear reactor meltdown occurred, right after WW11, as well as a stylized erotic horror film titled “Vampire Princess” based on the true story of an exiled Egyptian Queen that lived in Los Angelesin the 1960’s. Greg still takes on small acting roles these days and is featured in the comedy horror film “Mutants of Nature cove”.
